| The sausages were excellent with my couscous and broccoli. |
I have been wanting to do this recipe since I first saw it on
Everyday Dish. Julie Hasson is awesome and I watched the video at least three times over the last year. I printed out the recipe months ago and I kept saying "I'm going to make that, I am really going to make that" as I thumbed past it often in my greasy blue folder full of "Gonna Try 'Em" recipes.
Well for MoFo, it was only right to start with this. Julie has nailed it. I love love love these sausages! My daughter really enjoyed them too and of course that is so important for the mom of a 10 year old who has allergies and the pickiest taste to boot.

I have used these in everything and they are so easy and inexpensive to make. Every once in a while I use prepared vegan "meats" but I don't think I will be doing sausages from a package again for a long time. Thanks, Julie!!

i'm glad they worked out! i definitely think steamed sausages are one of the easiest methods of making home made seitan. how convenient that it's also one of the tastiest!
These look great. Something else for me to add to my must make list.
Steamed sausages are wonderful! I am also liking the baked ones from Hearty Vegan Meals.
